Hello,


How can I delete kexts files from terminal in installation process (boot from install dvd) on the hard drive ?


I explain :

I have 10.6 installed on the disk, and I have to deletes some kexts .... so I can boot from install dvd and have a terminal ... and ? what should i type in terminal ?

Hi,


You can either boot from the DVD as you would do when installing the OS, and then from the menu bar choose "Terminal" and proceed from there (you have to mount your startup disk, something such as mount -uw /dev/disk0s2, or something similar).


Other way is too boot from the hard disk in single-user (boot -s) , mount the filesystem (mount -uw / ) and proceed.
